Return to school on Tuesday, April 23.

Seniors are reminded to turn in the Dance Permission Form by Thursday, April 25, if their date does not currently attend STHS.  Prom Behavior and Dress Requirements

Honor Society Banquet is rescheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 6:30 pm in the Cafeteria.

Applications are now being accepted for Nicholls Dual Enrollment courses for the fall of 2019.  Interested Juniors and Seniors for the class of 2020 and 2021 should pick up an application in the counselors’ office.   Deadline for applying is August 12th but the sooner you apply, the better your chances are for getting your first choice courses.  Classes begin August 19th.

STHS stadium will be off limits for use beginning April 1, 2019, while the artificial turf surface is being installed.

K&B Industries Tour

K&B Industries is hosting a Facility Tour on May 3 at 9:00 AM. The purpose of this event is to educate stakeholders in the machining career field. This event is open to all parents, counselors, administrators, and master teachers.

4-H Excels

4-H

Congratulations to ST 4-H club. This weekend, they were recognized with 2 first place trophies for community service and achievement day participation, a 2nd place trophy for meeting excellence, and a 4 star club recognition. Last year 4-H was a 1 star club and has worked hard to become a 4 star club! Good job Gator 4Hers!

Jump Start Summer CAmp

TCT will once again be hosting the 4 week paid internship known as the Jump Start Summers program.  Current 10th and 11th grade students are eligible.  Courses in Auto Tech, Auto Body, Auto Diesel, Small Engines, Electricity, Carpentry, and Welding will be offered.  Classes will begin June 3rd and end June 20th.  Interested students should pick up an application from Mrs. Falgout in the counselors office. The deadline for applying is May 10th and spaces are limited.

About Us

Vision

The vision of the South Terrebonne High School learning community is to establish relationships with all stakeholders, enabling all students to graduate on time through college and career ready diploma tracks that provide opportunities to earn college credits or workplace credentials, in order to generate successful post-secondary experiences for all students.
 

Mission

South Terrebonne High School will utilize current Louisiana curricular resources, National Career and Technical Education Standards, and National College Board Standards to:
  • Build meaningful relationships which support and encourage students to set and attain college and career goals.  
  • Implement rigorous and relevant lessons that require students to read, write, listen, present and think critically.
  • Utilize data from assessments to challenge and prepare students for post-secondary training and 21st century careers.
