Attention Gator Athletes

We are currently monitoring the status of Tropical Storm Cristobal.  Due to the projected path, the first day of workouts is now scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th.  Workout times will be released soon and are subject to change due to the weather.

Athletes are reminded to bring their own form of hydration.

Per TPSD protocol, new students and incoming freshmen MUST have a current physical AND are also required to complete the release form (see link below).  Athletes are encouraged to print this form at home and bring it with them already signed to workouts Tuesday.

Online resources are available via Google classroom for all students. Please visit the Terrebonne Parish Schools district website or the STHS website to access the “STHS Distant Learning Resources” tab. This document will provide instructions and logins so that your child can access teacher assignments that will get them ready for next year. Assignments will be updated weekly until the end of May. Hoping you all stay safe, and thank you for your continued support of our students and school.



- Need assistance with internet options during this time?

    1. Spectrum option - Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a subscription

    2. Additionally, limited income households can apply for $5 to $10 per month internet access (AT&T Access, Cox Connect2Compete, CenturyLink Lifeline).


  • Edgenuity/ E2020/ Online Courses

We are reaching out to you to encourage your child to complete any online assignments available to them. At this time, we are not certain as to how or who will receive Carnegie Unit waivers. Therefore, it is recommended that all students complete their Edgenuity (E20/20) courses & / or OSHA certifications. As we go through these challenging times we want you to know that we still have teachers and counselors monitoring student online work and are only an e-mail away if they need assistance. Thank you for your continued support.


  • Distance Learning Assistance


The Louisiana Department of Education is committed to supporting all distance learning efforts to minimize students’ learning loss. The Department has identified ways students and families can access free or reduced-cost Internet packages and WiFi hotspots, as well as ways schools can ensure tracking on devices provided directly to students. That information can be found in which is continually updated.


  • Employment Certificates for  Minors

In response to the current COVID-19 event, pursuant to La. R.S. 23:184.1 the Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) will begin issuing sixty (60) day blanket Employment Certificates for employers desiring to employ minors in the State of Louisiana. Employment Certificates issued due to this event shall expire sixty (60) days from the date of issuance.   Upon expiration, employers will be required to obtain Employment Certificates as required pursuant to La. R.S. 23:181 et. seq.


Employers desiring to obtain an Employment Certificate pursuant to this memorandum must submit a completed and signed “Application to Employ Minors under 18” along with proof of age to  The application can be downloaded from the Louisiana Workforce Commission’s website or by copying and pasting the following web address into your web browser:  Incomplete applications will not be processed. Employers should allow three (3) days for processing.


When the application has been approved, the employer will be notified via email from the LWC Office of Workforce Development. The names of those minors who are approved to work pursuant to the Employment Certificate will also be attached to the email. As indicated, blanket Employment Certificates are effective for a maximum of sixty (60) days.  Blanket Employment Certificates are not transferable. Certificates are required to be kept at the minor’s work location.

Cammy Carrere- ARC Educator of the Year

Congratulations to Cammy Carrere for being selected as Terrebonne ARC Educator of the Year for her help with transitioning our students to the workforce.

She will be recognized on December 10th by Terrebonne ARC and will move on to compete for the ARC of Louisiana Award.
